Rachel L. Dubay, DNAP, CRNA
Dr. Dubay is the assistant director of the Center for Nurse Anesthesiology at Albany Medical Center. She is also an associate professor and has a clinical background in nurse anesthesiology. She holds a Doctorate Nurse Anesthesia Practice degree from Central Connecticut State University, and MS in nurse anesthesiology from Albany Medical College, and a BS in nursing from the State University of New York, Plattsburgh.
In addition to her work at the Center, she is a staff nurse anesthetist at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Dubay has lectured on topics including robotic surgery and anesthetic management, obesity and anesthetic management, and research techniques and nurse anesthesia practice.
She is the recipient of The Geraldine MacDowell Award for Outstanding Academic and Clinical Achievement from the Center for Nurse Anesthesiology, Dr. Dubay is a member of the NYS Association of Nurse Anesthetists, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, the New England Assembly of School Faculty, and the New York Academy of Sciences.
