Jodi M. Della Rocca, PhD, CRNA
Dr. Della Rocca is the director of the Center for Nurse Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College. She is also an associate professor and has a clinical background in nurse anesthesiology. She holds a PhD from Capella University, an MS in nurse anesthesiology from Albany Medical College, a BS in nursing from SUNY Technology at Utica/Rome, and a nursing degree from the Albany Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.
In addition to working as an instructor, she has worked as a staff nurse anesthetist at Albany Medical Center.
She is a member of the NYS Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist, the NYS Association of Nurse Anesthetist, and the New England Assembly of School Faculty.
Her research interests include discovering and implementing effective teaching/learning methods for the adult learner, and development and implementation of high-fidelity simulation scenarios that correlate with clinical and didactic course content.
