Contact a Trusted Staff Member
Students wishing to seek help or advice instead of calling law enforcement should contact any College Office or faculty member they feel comfortable with, including their advising dean. The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Services is also available at 518-262-5487.
Confidential Reporting
Victims of a crime who do not want to pursue action either through Albany Medical College Security or the criminal justice system, may consider making a confidential report.
With permission from the victim, the Director of Security Services or a designee can file a report on the details of the incident without revealing the victim's identity. The purpose of a confidential report is to comply with a victim's wish to keep the matter confidential, while taking steps to ensure future safety.
