Train in a Top Program
The Orthopedic Residency program at Albany Medical College is a five-year, ACGME-accredited training program that gives exposure to all facets of orthopedic practice at a major teaching and tertiary care medical center.
Research is important to our faculty. In addition to clinical studies, our division collaborates with researchers at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Union College, participating in translational and basic science projects. Residents have presented nationally at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), American Society of Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), and American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
