Albany Medical Center offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient clinical services including consultation, evaluation, treatment and prevention for a wide variety of infectious diseases and epidemiology-related issues. It is our goal to identify the source of each problem in order to achieve the best results.
We offer a wide range of inpatient and outpatient clinical services including consultation, evaluation, treatment and prevention for a variety of infectious diseases and epidemiology-related issues such as:
- Influenza and other viral and respiratory illnesses
- Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and other antibiotic resistant organisms
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Diseases acquired through international travel
We work closely with each patient and provide infection surveillance, exposure and outbreak investigations, education and infection control consultation.
