Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care team supports and promotes spiritual health and wellness in mind, body, and spirit for everyone in the Albany Medical Center community, regardless of one's faith background or religious practice. The interfaith chaplains are available to serve patients, their families, and staff members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To request a chaplain, call 2-3176. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program serves employees, students and family members of Albany
Medical Center. Under the guidance of a NYS licensed social worker, the EAP program helps members of the Albany Medical Center community cope with the various pressures and demands that can negatively impact our professional, academic, personal, emotional, financial and/or physical well-being. Student Support Services
Albany Medical College students have a broad range of counseling and support services available to them.  In addition to immediate medical and emotional support intervention, requests for assistance and/or referrals may be made through the Albany Medical College Student Psychological Services at 262-5511 the office of the Vice Dean for Academic Administration; Associate Dean for Academic and Student Services as well as your Advising Dean. All referrals and contacts are kept strictly confidential.
