Accreditation
The Otolaryngology Residency Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and the American Board of Otolaryngology. It is approved for two residents in each year. The residency is 4 years in length; which integrates the clinical, research, and teaching facilities at Albany Medical Center (AMC), Samuel S. Stratton Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), South Clinical Campus (SCC), and St. Peters Hospital.
Satisfactory completion of one year of trainig in the Albany Medical Center General Surgery Residency Program is required for acceptance into the Otolaryngology program. We participate in the American Otolaryngology Association match program and use the ERAS application process.
