Jonathan Gloth, M.D. Jonathan Gloth, MD was born and raised in Freehold, NJ. He graduated Summa cum Laude from Rutgers University, where he enrolled in the combined BA/MD program with UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. While at medical school, he was inducted into AOA. Jonathan has been involved in multiple research projects on intravitreal triamcinolone and bevacizumab, both during medical school and while at AMC, resulting in numerous publications and presentations. Currently, he is applying for a surgical vitreoretinal fellowship position. Jonathan married his high school sweetheart, Christine, shortly after finishing medical school in June 2005. Jonathan and his wife enjoy cooking and are avid sports fans. Martin O'Malley, M.D. Martin O'Malley, MD was born in Missouri, and grew up in Iowa. He earned his BS at the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Biological Basis of Behavior. As a medical student at AMC, he worked with John Simon evaluating the central corneal thickness of aphakic children. Marty presented this paper, which was later published in JAAPOS, at the national AAPOS meeting from the main podium. Marty also worked with Paul Beer on bioavailability of bevacizumab which was published in Retina. Most recently he has submitted a paper regarding orbital decompression in Graves' disease with Dale Meyer. He completed his internship year at AMC and enjoys playing a number of musical instruments and cycling. Marty is our chief resident for 2008-2009.
