Every year we have 4 categorical and 2 non- designated preliminary spots in our Program. In order to be considered you must have the following requirements:
Medical student applicants to our training program must use ERAS to submit information to be considered for placement. In general only US citizens or permanent residents will be considered. .Applicants must have graduated from an LCME approved medical school within three years of the date of application. International Medical Graduates must be currently enrolled in an ACGME accredited residency program in Surgery to be eligible for consideration. All applicants must have passed both Step 1 and Step 2 of the USMLE. It is required that PGY1 level residents pass Step 3 before being promoted to the PGY2 level of training. Applications must be complete by November 1st of the application year. Interviews are held in late November, throughout December and early in January on specific days.
