Cardiothoracic Surgery
The residency program in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Albany Medical Center is approved by the ACGME and provides training leading to eligibility for certification by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. This is a two-year clinical program with one resident accepted each year. Selection of residents is conducted exclusively through the National Registry Matching Program. Acceptance into the Program is predicted upon eligibility for, or certification by, the American Board of Surgery.
